IEP Mission Statement

Our mission is to reduce the increasing threat of juvenile deliquency in today's society. We have come up with a formula that we feel will not only benefit youths but parents and the community as well. We call it the IEP formula : Intervention+Education=Prevention.

Intervention- Unlike most traditional forms of intervention we will make each youth a direct part of IEP Organization. Each youth will be given tasks that will help them learn responsibility and experience the feeling of accomplishment while at the same time having fun with their peers.

Education- We will be providing a series of informational seminars free to the public in the Las Vegas Valley towards the end of this year. Half of these seminars will be for parents and adults to educate them as to the causes and effects of juvenile delinquency as well as how to recognize and deal with delinquency. The other half of these seminars will be specifically designed for all youths, whether they are in danger of becoming delinquent or not. We will educate them about the effects of drugs and gangs, how to prevent violence, communication skills and teach them family unity. We will also provide them with a list of resources in their community that can help them reach their goals and support them when they feel alone or need assistance.

Prevention- By combining our intervention strategies with the useful educational tools we will be providing to the public we hope to successfully prevent the increase of delinquency in our communities.

Our success depends on the success of the youths and families we work with
