IEP Org, Before I start, I do think you are doing something good for the neighborhood. I hate to be the bearer of negativity, but what is the point of trying to make a difference when it clearly states in the bible that everything is going to get worse. The vest answer that I can give you is this. Just because somebody is diagnosed with cancer doesn't mean they should stop fighting for their life. It's the same logic. Nobody is sure when or how the end of the world is going to come so it is important to make sure that future generations have the same opportunities we have now. I work all day so I am kind of uneasy leaving them at home to cause who knows what kind of destruction. I know that you are applying to receive funding, do you think you'll have activities scheduled by then? Iep Organization,      My name is Sami and I just moved here from Colorado. I used to be a mentor for youths and I was just wondering if you need volunteers? I really love working with kids and if I could work with kids here I wouldn't miss home so much.                                                                                   Sami Dear Sami,   For starters, welcome to Las Vegas!! We are always looking for volunteers to help out with upcoming events. Once we begin the Pilot Program we will have positions for an administrative assistant, an assistant rec coordinator and three personal counselors. And , if so, how??                                                                                              mikeyjuliebranson Dear mikeyjuliebranson,          The best way for parents/the public can help is to share our website with friends and family. We need to raise the public's awareness as to the causes and effects of juvenile delinquency.  As for donations , we are not excepting donations at this time. Once we have implemented our programs into the community then we will begin planning the raising of funds at that time. Anyways, I actualy visited your blog and to be quite honest it wasn't what I was looking for. But I was glad I got to see it. I know how hard it is to run a non-profit - I had one for abandoned animals. Thats also thanks to the company who allows us to use one of their sites. They are called Christian Charities ( we have no affiliation). Just a question ,                    The other day I was going through your pages and  I could have sworn there was one for Program Goals or something like that , so what happened to that? I checked out the bulletin board but no explaination. By the way , I'm loving your mission statement but I would revise my home page to reflect it more if I were you.                                                                                                                             Salvationmonstro666   Salvationmonstro666,               You are not crazy , we did have a page called Program Goals. We will be replacing it with a page dedicated to information on our seminars and the dates , times and locations. We feel that it was almost a waste of space since we normally post news goals on our bulletin board. And you'll be happy to know that we are currently in the process of creating a revised introduction page to replace the home page we have now. Every few months we will be re-doing our home page to reflect any changes that have been made to our program. Hi, interesting ad but why don't you get a web site for your group? There are free wiki, forum packages available out there that you can install and maintain. PHPBB and MediaWiki are just 2 of them. Alternatively, you can use an easier-to-use, hosted solution like http://Grou.ps. The good point is it's free too and it has no ads. It offers you a lot of features like group calendar, blogs, group map, wiki (to share documents, create web pages), photo album, real-time chat etc... Check out these solutions and let me know how it goes for you.
